Alarm Device
Multi-Channel Sensor Monitoring
The H₂ alarm module provides reliable monitoring of up to four hydrogen sensors of type H2-CNI 0–10V-I and H2-meTCD 0–10V, making it ideal for safety-critical and industrial applications. Each sensor is powered by an independent supply voltage, ensuring high operational reliability.
The module supports a three-color 24 V LED warning light for clear visual alarm signaling. Factory default thresholds distinguish between normal operation, pre-alarm, and main alarm, allowing early detection of critical hydrogen concentrations. All alarm thresholds can be individually configured via the SensorControl software when connected to a Windows® PC through the Micro-USB interface.
Each sensor’s status is indicated directly on the module by four tri-color LEDs and can additionally be transmitted potential-free via the D-Sub 15 interface to an optional relay card. An automatic switchover between main and auxiliary 24 V power supplies ensures uninterrupted operation in case of power failure.
The robust housing made of anodized aluminum is designed for control cabinet installation and mounts easily on a DIN rail (TH 35). All connectors are located on the front panel, and an illuminated on/off switch provides safe and convenient operation.

Evaluation Kits
Support for H2-CNI and H2-meTCD sensor testing and integration
The evaluation kits enable controlled operation and signal analysis of our calorimetric and thermal conductivity sensors in laboratory or development environments. Depending on the sensor type and output signal (analog or digital), various controller units are available. These provide excitation voltages, analog-to-digital conversion, programmable gain, temperature measurement and access to internal sensor buses.
All controllers are equipped with precision 16-bit data acquisition chains and status indicators for threshold-based hydrogen level detection. Most variants support connection via 1-wire interface to a PC and include EEPROMs for sensor-specific configuration data.
All evaluation kits are operated using our SensorControl software and require a bipolar power source module (SBPS-LDO 3.12) and bundled connection accessories.
Kits:
- PGA-ADC 3.4 and DCC-PGA-ADC 3.4 for H2-CNI 0-10V-I, H2-CNI 4-20mA-I, H2-meTCD 0-10V and H2-meTCD 4-20mA sensors
- TempSens 3.1 and I2C-USB 2.1 for H2-CNI I2C-I FWB-A and H2-meTCD I2C sensors
